Before working in family medicine, Kristin worked with urgent care patients. She has her Doctorate in Clinical Nursing.
She originally grew up and completed her undergraduate education in Virginia. After which, she moved to Colorado at age 22 and has lived here ever since. Kristin received her Master of Science in Nursing / Family Nurse Practitioner in 2006 from the University of Colorado. Subsequently, she obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2015 from the University of Colorado. Kristin has worked in urgent care and primary care for 18 years.
She has a passion for preventative health care and believes strongly in a healthy diet, exercise, and mental and spiritual health to improve health status and avoid illness. She has a focus on improving health through diet, exercise, vitamin and nutrient supplementation and hormone optimization.
Diana has over 3 years’ experience as an aesthetician and her expertise and knowledge merges artistry and beauty in every skincare experience. When she is not working she’s enjoying time with her family and/or outdoors. Diana specializes in a variety of modalities to enhance your glow, including: Neurotoxins, Lip Fillers, Radio Frequency Microneedling, CO2 Lasers, Chemical Peels & other advanced treatments.

Brian Flickinger is a licensed and board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in mental health. His journey includes a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Colorado State University, a Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Georgia Southern University. Inspired by years of work in various clinical settings, he pursued additional training to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Since then, Brian has helped thousands of individuals navigate mental health challenges and complex life transitions.
A proud Colorado native, Brian loves spending time outdoors snowboarding, mountain biking, camping, and hiking. He’s a music enthusiast who attends as many live concerts as possible—especially at Red Rocks—and a dedicated fan of Colorado sports (though his fantasy football team is another story). When he’s not exploring new places or meeting interesting people, he cherishes time with family and close friends.

Amir Mahmoud is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a multidisciplinary background in nursing, psychology, and healthcare leadership. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and later earned both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration.

Amir has over a decade of diverse healthcare experience, including emergency services, critical care, trauma systems, and psychiatric care. He now focuses on evaluating and treating children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns—including ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and mood disorders. His experience in high-acuity settings gives him a strong foundation in assessing complex presentations and collaborating closely with medical providers to ensure seamless, coordinated care.

Amir takes a thoughtful, individualized, and evidence-based approach to care, drawing from a range of proven psychiatric and behavioral interventions. His practice includes medication management, cognitive-behavioral therapy, ialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and exposure & response prevention. When clinically appropriate, he integrates emerging neuroscience strategies—such as ketamine-assisted therapy combined with guided virtual reality meditation—to enhance neuroplasticity and therapeutic impact. Meredith was born and raised in Colorado and then moved to San Francisco, where she spent many years before returning home to Colorado. Her first degree was in history before discovering a love for medicine. She graduated nursing school summa cum laude with additional honors from the University of Colorado. After graduation, Meredith was the lead author on a journal article about mother and infant bonding during feeding interactions. During this time, she also discovered her passion for emergency and trauma medicine, which is where she spent many years as a nurse. She then graduated with high honors as a family nurse practitioner and has spent her time as an FNP serving specialty populations such as the mentally ill, immigrants, those struggling with addiction, and survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Meredith believes in treating the whole person and that our emotional, mental, and physical health are all interdependent in order to help make us whole.

Alexis Hess is a board-certified Physician Assistant with extensive experience managing complex medical patients. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University, followed by a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Savannah, GA.
Her care philosophy centers on treating each patient as a unique individual. Believing that medicine is not a one-size-fits-all approach, Alexis is committed to creating personalized care plans for her patients. She values shared decision-making and prioritizes listening to her patients, recognizing that they are instrumental in implementing their own action plans. Alexis is dedicated to developing care strategies that promote health and improve her patients’ well-being.
After beginning her career in chronic disease management, Alexis now focuses on preventive medicine in Primary Care, aiming to help patients stop chronic diseases before they take hold. She also has a passion for Aesthetics and takes pride in helping her patients feel confident and radiant in their own skin.
A Colorado native, Alexis has returned to her home state after practicing medicine in Savannah, GA. During her free time, she enjoys exploring all that Colorado has to offer, traveling, and immersing herself in diverse cultures to experience the beauty of the world.

Madison Jones, PA-C, was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Butler University in Indianapolis, graduating Cum Laude in 2021. She went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies through Butler University’s nationally ranked PA program, graduating in May 2023 and achieving board certification the following month.
As a certified Physician Assistant, she is trained across the eleven general specialties of medicine. She began her career with nearly two years in psychiatric medication management before transitioning to primary care, where she now focuses on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered treatment.
Known for her approachable and compassionate style, Madison believes in building strong relationships with her patients by understanding their unique goals and values. She emphasizes the importance of patient education and shared decision-making, creating a comfortable environment where individuals feel confident in their care plans.
Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and camping, as well as spending time with friends, family, and her two cats.

A dedicated professional, Skyler is passionate about helping clients look and feel their absolute best—something she considers the most rewarding part of her work.
As a proud single mother to a vibrant four-year-old, she balances her career with a deep commitment to family. In her free time, Skyler enjoys being outdoors and spending quality time with loved ones, embracing the active Colorado lifestyle she’s always called home.

Maggie Kestel, FNP-C, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Colorado to attend Colorado State University. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Human Development & Family Studies and Psychology before pursuing her passion for healthcare at the Denver School of Nursing, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Maggie began her nursing career at the University of Colorado Hospital, where she spent seven years in inpatient care specializing in the Medical-Surgical and Pulmonary units. She later advanced her education by earning her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Dedicated to a holistic approach, Maggie believes that health is the foundation for living your best life. She focuses not only on medical needs but also on the functional and lifestyle aspects of her patients’ well-being. She takes time to get to know each individual, ensuring that every care plan is personalized and patient-centered.
